The latest fee for MBBS admission in Andhra Pradesh under NRI quota is around Rs. 29 Lakh - 40 Lakh per annum. The BDS fees in private medical colleges under ‘C; category will be fixed around Rs. 27,00,000
Private medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh have taken a decision to slash/reduce the fees for MBBS/ BDS course for ‘C’ category (NRI Quota) seats this year. As per the rules of Andhra Pradesh government, private medical colleges can fix the fee structure for ‘C’ category seats, which can be five times more than ‘B’ category seats. However, the medical colleges have been charging less fee for NRI quota seats than the cap fixed by the state government.
The fee for ‘B’ category (management quota) MBBS seats in Andhra Pradesh is around Rs. 13,37,057 per annum. On the other hand, the ‘C’ category fee for MBBS course is around Rs. 66,00,000 per annum. However, most students and parents are willing to take up the MBBS course in Andhra Pradesh under NRI quota due to the exorbitant fee structure. Therefore, the colleges have decided to reduce the fees for MBBS/ BDS course under NRI quota. The latest fee for MBBS admission in Andhra Pradesh under NRI quota is around Rs. 29 Lakh - 40 Lakh per annum.
At present, there are 15 private medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, and each offers 15-30 seats in MBBS course under ‘C’ category.
On the other hand, the BDS fees in private medical colleges under ‘C; category will be fixed around Rs. 27,00,000. At present, there are 14 private dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh, and each college offers 8-15 seats in BDS course under ‘C’ category.
