Andhra University has finalised the schedule of AP SET 2019. Check the important dates of AP SET 2019 here.
The official schedule of AP SET 2019 (Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test)was confirmed by the exam conducting authority, Andhra University. This year, AP SET 2019 will be conducted on October 20, 2019. Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University, Professor G. Nageswara Rao revealed that AP SET 2019 will be conducted for 31 subjects. Students are free to appear for AP SET 2019 in either English medium or Telugu medium, he added.
AP SET qualification is mandatory for the candidates to be eligible for the appointment of lecturers and assistant professors in universities and colleges across the state. The exam will be conducted as per UGC norms. This year, AP SET will have only Paper I and Paper II.
AP SET 2019 Application Fees:
The registration fee for AP SET 2019 has been fixed at Rs. 1,200 for the candidates belonging to General/ Unreserved Category, Rs. 700 for SC/ST (Reserved Categories)/ PH/ VH candidates and Rs. 1,00 for BCs.
AP SET 2019 Exam Centres:
AP TET 2019 will be conducted in the following cities: -
- Tirupati
- Anantapur
- Nellore
- Guntur
- Rajahmundry
- Visakhapatnam
The Paper I of AP SET 2019 will have 50 questions for 100 marks, while Paper II will have 100 questions for 200 marks. There is negative marking this year. As per UGC rules, only 6% out of the total number of candidates applied will be declared qualified in AP SET 2019.
