Application Process for JEE Main 2018 Concludes, NEET UG 2018 Notification Soon

  • According to sources, the application process for NEET UG 2018 is expected to begin by the end of the January 2018.
  • CBSE will conduct NEET UG 2018 on May 10, 2018, for MBBS, BDS and possibly AYUSH courses as well. 
Application Process for JEE Main 2018 Concludes, NEET UG 2018 Notification Soon

CBSE has closed the application process for JEE Main 2018 and is expected to begin the application process for NEET UG 2018 soon. CBSE is yet to release the notification for NEET UG 2018 MBBS/ BDS entrance exam. Earlier, the board confirmed that NEET UG 2018 will be conducted on May 10, 2018. According to sources, the application process is expected to begin by the end of January 2018. Stay tuned to CollegeDekho for the official notification of NEET UG 2018.

NEET UG 2018 will be conducted in ten languages including: -

  • Kannada
  • Bengali
  • Marathi
  • Gujarati
  • Assamese
  • English
  • Hindi
  • Oriya
  • Telugu
  • Tamil

NEET UG 2018 might be conducted in Urdu and the clarification in this regard will be out only after the release of official notification.

Ministry of AYUSH will ask CBSE to conduct NEET UG 2018 for AYUSH courses. The ministry is in a dilemma whether to merge AYUSH entrance exam with NEET UG 2018 (MBBS/ BDS) or conduct a separate entrance exam.

NEET UG 2017 received wide criticism from students, experts and parents. The rigorous rules irritated the parents and students. CBSE imposed strict dressing guidelines for NEET UG 2017, that caused discomfort among the aspirants. On the other hand, failure of maintaining uniformity of difficulty level in regional languages was also one of the issues. In states like Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and West Bengal, there were protests against NEET.

CBSE will release schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2018 this week.
