ASM’s MINDSCAPE2018 was conducted on 21st October 2018. The 15th Edition has broken all shackles in terms of the number of participating organizations and their teams with a leap of 150% more than the previous year.
ASM Pune organised MINDSCAPE 2018 on October 21, 2018. The 15th edition of MINDSCAPE witnessed huge participation this year. Compared to the previous edition of the event, there has been an increase in the number of participating teams and organisations. The MINDSCAPE 2018 was an interesting and competitive event right from the beginning. The event commenced at 9:30 AM, in the presence of the Chief Guest and Honourable Jury members. Chairperson of ASM, Dr. Asha Pachpande, and Dr. Sandeep Pachpande was also present at the event.
The inaugural session of MINDSCAPE 2018 commenced with of lightening of the Holy Lamp, and a cultural performance by ASM students added more weight to the inaugural session. Dr. Asha Pachpande inaugurated the event. Chief Guest of the event, Mr. Jagadeesh Lomte, Vice-President & CIO of Thermax Global Pune delivered a motivational speech on this occasion.
During his speech, Mr. Lomte advised the students to focus on the required ingredients of the industry such as IoT and Machine Learning, and the significance of Customer Experience along with the necessity of treating the customers as a king.
Dr. Sandeep Pachpande briefed details of the journey of ASM’s MINDSCAPE and its competitions. He also explained the future strategic plans of the ASM Group. The major focus will be on globalising the pedagogy and investing in newer areas of higher studies in IT and Business Management, he added.
M/S Satguru Travels was the co-sponsor of MINDSCAPE. As a part of its sponsorship, Satguru Travels instituted Special Incentive to the winners of MINDSCAPE 2018 competition. The winners were offered cost paid travel vouchers (up to Rs. 25,000).
One of the major features of the Jury Group of MINDSCAPE 2018 was to ensure qualitative improvements in evaluations of presentations. The Jury Members were Mr. Animesh Choubey, Vinay Nair, and Amit Deshmukh - Harvard Alumni.
Professor JA Kulkarni concluded the inaugural event of MINDSCAPE 2018 with Vote of Thanks.
MINDSCAPE 2018 Competition was organised in three halls to accommodate presentations by 40 teams and 3 juries per hall. Every presentation focused on a new approach to issues in the Case Study. As per selected Case Study, the team members were divided on the basis of their expertise. This year, the presentations gave a fresh thought.
After the presentations, the Jury expressed that the competition was strong, and the strategies followed by each team were impressive. All the participants were awarded Certificate, MINDSCAPE 2018 T-Shirt and souvenir.
