The Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology, School of Technology, Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), in collaboration with Zantrik Technologies Pvt. Ltd. And Usense Innovative Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is organizing a two-week National Level Workshop cum Summer Internship on Web Applications Development web. May 30 to June 11, 2016.
Objective: The primary objective of this workshop is to expose and acquaint the participants with state-of-the-art tools and technologies involved in designing and developing professional web applications. The workshop shall be conducted in a full-time mode, involving lectures, practical sessions, demos and hands-on practices on different topics related to Web Applications Development as mentioned in the detailed workshop syllabus below.

Part I:
- Basics of Web Designing
- Basics of Web Technology
- XHTML
- Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Content Management System (CMS) using Drupal
Part II:
- Scripting and Database Handling
- Client-side scripting: jQuery / JavaScript / AJAX
- Server-side scripting: PHP
- Introduction to MySQL
- Database handling using PHP and MySQL
- Python Programming
- Advanced Java (Web Development)
Part III:
Interaction with Alumni (working in reputed organization)
Part IV:
Project Competition
Eligibility of Participation: Pursuing undergraduate (BE/BTech/BCA/BSc) or postgraduate courses with basic knowledge of IT.

Rs. 4500.00 for outside participants
Rs. 3500.00 for Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) participants
