The MBA Department of Assam University, Silchar has already witnessed 80% placements and is expected to complete 100% placements for 2022. Students were offered high salary packages in some of the leading companies in India.
The Assam University, Silchar has witnessed reputed companies participating in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Department Placements 2022. One more semester is left, i.e., the last semester. And, 80% of the placement process is complete with students in prestigious and elite companies.
The MBA Department, Assam University, Silchar expects to complete 100% placements by the end of the programme. The faculty members of the university are hopeful to complete the record with 100% placements. Multiple leading brand companies participated in the 2021-2022 placement drive and offered jobs with high salary packages per annum.
The Assistant Professor at MBA Department, Assam University, Dr. Deepjyoti Choudhury stated that a total of 35 students were placed in prestigious companies. Out of which, 11 students were placed at ICICI Bank, 9 students in Bandhan Bank, 6 students in ICICI Securities, 3 students in ITC, 2 students in Dalmia Cement and Bandhan Micro Finance each, and 1 student each in Berger Paints and CRTD Technology.

Further, out of these 35 students, who are placed in these companies one student secured the highest salary package of INR 10 Lakh per annum. Ananya Home Choudhury was offered this salary package.
The MBA Department, Assam University, Silchar recorded 99.5% placements in the 2018-19 placement drive. Then again in 2019-2020, it had witnessed 90% placements, and in 2020-2021, 73% of the students received placements. However, in 2021-2022, it has already witnessed 80% placements and expects to complete 100% placements by the end of the programme and set new records.
