The Department of Management Science (PUMBA) at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has started registrations for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course in Hospitality and Facilities Management. Abbreviated as BBA (HFM), the course prepares a candidate for a career in the service sector. At a time when COVID-19 has hampered the growth of many, this course comes as an excellent option for industry-oriented skill-development.
This course is a unique offering from SPPU and no other BBA college in India offers the BBA course in the HFM specialization. It is also the only undergraduate management course to be added to the list of courses offered by PUMBA so far. Candidates who are interested in taking admission to this course must first check all of the details and processes specified by the university and ensure that they meet all of the requirements for the programme.
SPPU BBA (HFM) Eligibility Criteria 2020
Given below is the eligibility criteria for the BBA (HFM) course.
- The candidate must have passed class 12th / HSC in any of the Arts / Science / Commerce / Vocational streams from a recognized board.
The candidate must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying course.
The candidate must have studied English as one of the subjects in class 12th.

SPPU BBA HFM Selection Process 2020
The selection of candidates for the BBA HFM course at SPPU is done based on the Online Entrance Exam (OEE). As per the latest notification issued by SPPU, OEE may be conducted in September 2020. The final date for the exam is yet to be announced.
The SPPU Online Entrance Exam will be an MCQ-based test of 100 marks. The exam will contain two sections:
- Section A (20 Marks): English and Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge
- Section B (80 Marks): Subject-specific questions (for BBA) from Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Services Aptitude
