Savitribai Phule Pune University, popularly known as SPPU or UniPune, is one of the largest public state universities in India. The university was established in 1949 as Poona University under the Poona University Act passed by the Bombay Legislature in 1948. Over the years, the university has proved its academic and research excellence bringing it the title of the ‘Oxford of the East’. CAT 2023 Schedule

The Maharashtra State CET Cell conducts the centralised UniPune counselling process for MBA and MCA programmes every year. UniPune courses are offered both under its university departments and through its affiliated colleges. The UniPune curriculum follows a semester-based system. Students must clear all semesters to get their final degree certificates from the university. The university conducts the odd semester examinations generally in December/January and even semester examinations in May/ June. The SPPU admission process primarily depends on the choice of your course. The UG, PG, and PhD admissions at UniPune are primarily an entrance-test-based process. For courses such as MBA, M.Tech and MCA, the university accepts national and state-level entrance exams, including CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, MAH MBA CET, GATE, and MAH MCA CET. The university also conducts an Online Entrance Exam (OEE) for admission to its various UG and PG programmes. SPPU Pune Application Process 2023

The university has a dedicated UniPune application portal to streamline its online application process. Eligible candidates must fill out the online application form to be considered for the selection process.
