BCI Opens AIBE 2019 'Missing Set Code Verification' Window

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has opened the missing set code verification window for all the candidates who were disqualified in the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) - 14 of 2019. It was reported that as many as 1,170 candidates had been disqualified from AIBE 14 because the question paper ‘set code’ was missing from their answer sheets.

The BCI had asked all these disqualified candidates earlier to send a show-cause notice via email in the month of February. However, after the AIBE 2019 results were declared, all the candidates whose set codes were missing were termed as ‘disqualified’. Later, in a notification that was published on 21st February 2020, the candidates were asked to appear for the next session of AIBE (that is AIBE 15) in order to qualify for the ‘Certificate of Practice’.

According to the official notification, all the candidates who were disqualified in AIBE 14 because of the mismatch or missing of the set code can view the scanned copies of their answer scripts in order to verify the same.

How to Verify AIBE 2019 Missing Set Code in Online Mode?

All the candidates who were disqualified in AIBE 2019 can now verify their set codes through the window that has been provided on the official website of AIBE. The steps of AIBE set code verification have been enumerated below. Candidates can follow these points and successfully complete the task.

• The disqualified candidates will have to visit the official website of AIBE.
• In the notification bar given at the top on the homepage, they will find the latest notification which will be dated 18th March.
• Candidates have to click on the link and they will then be taken to another tab that will show a login window for ‘missing set code verification’ AIBE.
• In this window, the candidates will be required to enter their AIBE 14 roll number and then click on the option of 'Send OTP'.
• An OTP will be sent to the mobile number which the candidates had entered during the AIBE registration.
• Once the candidate enters the OTP and proceeds, he/ she will see a scanned copy of his/ her answer sheet that will appear on the screen.
• Here, they have to cross-check all the details and provide the information asked regarding ‘AIBE 2019 question paper set code’. They can submit it once they have checked all the details.
• The candidates will not have to pay any fee in order to get their missing set code verification done. Apart from that, no last date has been set for the verification of the answer sheets and paper set code.
