Bird Worldwide Flight Services India Collaborates with Ukraine University for Training in Aviation & Aerospace Sector

Bird Worldwide Flight Services India Collaborates with Ukraine University for Training in Aviation & Aerospace Sector

The National Aviation University, Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bird Worldwide Flight Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. for training in aviation and aerospace sector. The memorandum was signed on June 1, 2017. The objective is to develop professional aviation and aerospace education programmes and research for the development and benefit of the Indian Civil Aviation Industry.

Internship opportunity and campus placements have been incorporated in the provisions of the memorandum for eligible students for this purpose.

The main aim of encouraging industry participation in skills development by Ministry of Civil Aviation is to ensure employability of the persons being skilled and also sustainability of skill development programmes.

On June 1, 2017 Bird Education Society for Travel & Tourism and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at training, skilling and empowering more than 30,000 unemployed youngsters across various states, including north- eastern states, over the next six years.

The main focus of the skill development programmes is on the quality of skilling. It has been aligned with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).

Supportive measures have been taken to ensure that creation and implementation of training modules are efficient and effective. It also ensures assessment and certification of skill development and also placement of certified and skilled workforce in the job market.

These training modules include training programmes like Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) across private and public civil aviation enterprises. Few Centres of Excellence are also proposed to be set up in different parts of the country in cooperation with NSDC and the Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC).
