Board of Intermediate - Telangana Launches Grievances Redressal System (BIGRS)

On Tuesday, Telangana Cheif Secretary launched the Board of Intermediate Grievances Redressal System (BIGRS). The system is intended to streamline the results and avoid errors in exam evaluation for SSC and intermediate.

On Tuesday, Telangana Cheif Secretary launched the Board of Intermediate Grievances Redressal System (BIGRS). The system is an online platform dedicated to the intermediate students in Telangana to help them express their grievance through the online system. The system has been prepared and will be maintained by the Centre for Good Governance (CGC).

When the students will submit a complaint through the system, it will get redirected to a concerned officer online. The officer responsible for the complaint will further take the necessary action over the complaint and intimate the status to the student who has submitted the complaint. Students need to follow the following guidelines to access the BIGRS System:

  1. Go to the official website of BIGRS
  2. Enter the mobile number. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number entered for the verification.
  3. After verification, the portal for entering the grievance will be opened.
  4. Enter the complaint and click on submit.
  5. After submitting, a receipt will be generated for the complaint and it will be transferred to the concerned officer.

Any stakeholder, including students, alumni, college management, parents, or the public can access the BIGRS system. The system also gives access to the complainant to track the status of complaints submitted. The submitted complaints will be entertained under a prescribed time frame. The dashboard for the grievance will be supervised by both the Board of Intermediate Education and Commissioner of Intermediate Education Higher authorities.

As stated by the Chief Secretary, the system has been created and implemented in order to streamline the SSC and intermediate results. He further added that through the system implementation, it is intended to remove the errors in the exam evaluation.
