BSSB Degree College, Tadikonda conducted various competitions for the students on the account of World Water Conservation Day on 22-March-2016. The competitions were inaugurated by College principal, Smt.S.M.Swarna Latha.
Addressing the students she said, “Now-a-days the people are showing their carelessness in the conservation of water resources. There is a lot of need for the conservation of water resources for the future generations”. She felt, “If the environment is protected, it would give scope for the good climatic conditions which are irregular in the present scenario.
On the occasion competitions like;
- Elocution
- Essay Writing
- Painting and
- Poster presentation were conducted
The winners will be awarded prizes and certificates on the occasion of college anniversary which will take place next week.
The competitions were organized by the NSS wing of the college. NSS officers A.V Raghuram, Krishna Rao and Hanuman supervised the competitions.
