As per sources, the results of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2016 are expected to be out on January 10, 2016. One of the officials of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore revealed that the authorities are planning to declare results on the official website on January 10.
CAT examination that was conducted on December 4, 2016, for the admission to numerous management courses in various colleges across the country that accept CAT score as a criterion for admission. Around 2 lakh candidates took CAT 2016 examination. However, some of the candidates took the examination for the second time in 2016, most candidates appeared for CAT for the first time.

The number of questions from each section of the CAT paper has been changing year after year. The candidates who took CAT 2016 examination gave a mixed response. Those candidates who appeared for CAT examination for the second time felt that the paper was easy while the candidates who appeared for the first time gave a moderate response. They said that the paper was neither easy nor tough.
One of the students who took the test for the second time was of the opinion that compared to CAT 2015, CAT 2016 was easier. He was able to complete Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section in the allocated time. On the other hand, he felt difficulty in Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability areas.
A student who took the CAT test for the first time expressed that the multiple choice questions were tough and the Quant section was predictable. One of the students further mentioned that he could not perform well as he believed he did not have enough time for preparation.
