The official website for the Common Admissions Test (CAT) 2021 will be launched tentatively in the month of July 2021. Candidates can then access all of the information about CAT 2021.

CAT 2021 registrations are expected to start in August 2021 and will go on till the last week of September. As per the previous years' trends, the exam date of CAT 2021 is likely to be set in the last week of November in two or more slots.

How to Apply for CAT 2021

Candidates will be able to apply for CAT 2021 as soon as the forms are released. All applications will be made from the official website of CAT 2021. Candidates will first have to register on the website and then log in to fill the CAT 2021 application form. Candidates will have to submit the application along with the application fee till the last date of registration which will be around the last week of September 2021.

Changes in CAT Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of CAT has been revised from CAT 2020 onwards. All candidates appearing for the exam must know the new exam pattern of CAT 2021. The total number of questions in CAT 2021 will remain the same as 100 but the total time duration has been shortened to 2 hours or 120 minutes from 3 hours. Candidates will now only have 40 minutes of time per section. The number of questions, time duration, syllabus and sections have been kept the same.

CAT 2021 Exam Centres

CAT 2021 will be conducted nation-wide in a total of 156 cities. Candidates will be able to fill their preference for six exam centres while filling the CAT 2021 application form.
