Students from the differently-abled category have exceeded all expectations once again. After the announcement of CBSE Class 10 board exam result, names of several differently abled students came out who passed the exam with flying colours despite all the difficulties.

Be it spinal atrophy, lack of sight or visual impairment, students surpassed all challenges and emerged as the real CBSE Class 10 toppers in 2018. Know more about the toppers of CBSE class 10 toppers in differently-abled section below.

Even complete lack of sight could not deter Sanya from pursuing her goals. Sanya scored the highest marks among the differently abled students in CBSE Class 10 board exams. Not only is she an exemplary student but is also an excellent singer.

Sanya is from Ghaziabad and has no plans to stop at class 10. She wants to pursue political science in her graduation. She later wants to become an IAS officer.

Anushka Panda

Anushka has muscular spinal atrophy that confines her to a wheelchair and does not permit her to sit at lengths. However, Anushka has always insisted on being treated as a normal student and finished each exam in 2 and a half hours. Despite all the challenges, she scored top marks in class 10 exams

Although Anushka is a classically trained singer, she does not want to pursue a career in singing. She is planning to pursue an academic path and wants to continue her education.

Somya Deep Pradhan

Somya Deep is another student who scored excellent marks in class 10 board exams despite being visually challenged. He has 13 eye power (both eyes) and has been undergoing treatment since he was a child. He expected close to 95% marks and was thrilled to find out that he surpassed his expectations.

Somya Deep ha qualified various Olympiads and wants to take up medical stream. The young achiever aspires to become a doctor.
