- The paper was completely NCERT-based but if one is not thorough with the topics, it is likely that the student will find the application-based questions to be tricky and difficult.
- "For me, the chemistry part was the toughest and most tricky," a student from Gurgaon expressed. "I was expecting diagram questions in biology but there were none. It was somewhat of an imbalanced paper."

The paper had easy to moderate questions and about 70 to 80% of the paper was directly from the textbooks. The paper was not lengthy. Students could easily finish the paper within time and could also get time to revise their answers once. The typology of questions was as outlined by the board.
