CBSE has released an official notification stating that the exams will be held for classes for 9 and 11 following COVID-19 measures. The new academic session will begin on April 1, 2021. The classes have been delayed due to COVID-19. The board has also issued guidelines to conduct class 10, 12 practical exams 2021.
The official notification of the board state that class 9, 11 exams will help to identify learning gaps and the same will be addressed by the schools during the new academic sessions.
Earlier, many students took it to social media demanding the cancellation of class 9 and 11 board exams due to the ongoing crisis. Many students were also demanding online exams but the board has decided to go ahead with offline exams for classes 9th and 11th.
CBSE has also asked the affiliated school to resume offline classes for the students who will be appearing in offline exams this year. This will also help the students cope with academic stress and to finish their syllabus faster.
The board has also advised all the teachers to focus on individual learning for students which will help bridge the academic gap that was created due to the ongoing pandemic. Students will also be clear their doubts once the physical classes resume.
