CBSE 10th Pending Exam 2020 Cancelled, Result (OUT) - Check Passing Criteria & Marks, Date Sheet, Time Table, Schedule

CBSE has been asked by SC to cancel the remaining class 10 board exams for the 2020 academic year due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The CBSE class 10 result are out. The board may not release the merit list.

CBSE Class 10th Date Sheet

Students have been eagerly waiting for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2020 final verdict and SC has asked the Board to cancel the remaining exams. Both CBSE class 12 and 10 exams were called off in 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Earlier, the CBSE class 10 board exams were to take place only for North-East Delhi students from July 1st, has now been canceled and the result has been released on the basis of internal assessment. CBSE class 10th result 2020 has been released on 15th July 2020 and the names of CBSE Class 10 Toppers 2020 will be released soon. 

Out of 8,85,885 students who had registered for CBSE Class 10 exams in 2020, 18,73,015 appeared and 17,13,121 students passed. The pass percentage of students for CBSE Class 10 stands at 94.46%. This year too, girls outshone boys with 93.31% (girls), in comparison to boys, whose pass percentage stands at 90.14%. In all, about 1,84,358 students (or 9.84% students) have scored 90 percent and above in CBSE Class 10 board examination and 41,804 students (or 2.23% students) have scored more than 95% in CBSE Class 10 Board Results 2020. 

As per the assessment scheme, the results of Class 10 students who have completed all their exams, were declared based on their performances in the exams. Class 10 students who have appeared in the examinations in more than three subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best three performing subjects has been awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.

CBSE Class 10 New Date Sheet (Only for North-East Delhi) - Cancelled

What is the difference between standard and basic Mathematics in CBSE Class 10 board exams 2020.

Candidates who choose basic mathematics in CBSE Class 10 board exams will not be able to take up mathematics in class 11. In case, a student secures good marks in board exams and chooses to pursue mathematics in class 11th, then they will have to appear for CBSE class 10 compartmental exams 2020. Standard Mathematics is for the candidates who wish to pursue Mathematics in class 11.
