Patel further said that generally, higher education institutes are required to achieve a minimum standard. These institutes are prescribed to have a minimum number of teachers, minimum infrastructure, minimum numbers of books in the libraries. If the institutes meet these standards, they get the recognition and are allowed to operate. But no attempt has been made to figure out if the students of the institute are actually learning or not. Instead, the focus should be given on the quality of the education students are learning.
