COAP Round 1 Offers 2026 TODAYCOAP Round 1 Offers 2026 TODAY: The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee will release the COAP round 1 offers 2026, at 10 AM on the official website- coap2026.iitr.ac.in . All the successfully registered candidates will get to see the offers in the most preferred M.Tech programs or the job offer from any of the PSUs. Post that the registered candidates can choose any one offer from the available offers. The last date of getting access to the offer window and making a decision is May 13, 2026 (9 AM). Candidates should not fail to take the necessary action before the last date; they will not be allowed to get access to it further.
Instructions to be followed after COAP Round 1 Offers 2026
After getting access to the COAP Round 1 offers for 2026, the candidates should choose any of the following three options to continue the process further. More specifically, the candidates should choose one offer at a time. There is no option to opt for multiple options at a single time. For instance, if the candidates got three offers from different IITs, then they should reject two and choose one as per their preference.
- Accept and Freeze: If the candidates choose this option, then there will be no further scope for offer upgradation in the next round. After selecting the “Accept and freeze” option, the candidates should click on the submit button to confirm. Next, the candidates are advised to visit the admission portal of the corresponding Institute or the job portal of the PSU to follow their specified procedures.
- Retain and Wait: If the candidates provisionally accept one of the available offers, but want to seek possible upgrades to the higher preferences in subsequent rounds, then they should choose the “Retain and Wait” option. If a higher offer is made later, then the current offer will be automatically released. Note that the candidates will be allowed to select the Retain and wait option only twice.
- Reject and Wait: If the candidates are not satisfied with the current offer and do not want to accept it, but still want to wait for a higher offer preference in the subsequent round, then they should choose the "Reject and Wait” option. The offers the candidates reject in the first round will not appear again in the subsequent rounds.
