UPSC has released the timetable for the preliminary exam of Combined Geo-Scientist on its official website. The exam will be divided into two papers to be conducted on January 19, 2020.
The 2020 Timetable for Combined Geo-Scientist Preliminary examination has been released by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The timetable has been released on the official site of UPSC as per which, the preliminary exam will be conducted on January 19, 2020.
As per the scheduled uploaded, the preliminary exam for combined Geo-Scientist will have two papers. Paper-I will consist of General Studies which will be conducted from 9.30-11.30 AM. Paper-II will consist of stream specific subjects which will be conducted from 2.00-4.00 PM.
Paper-I subjects will be common for all the streams while paper-II will be stream specific consisting of Geologist and Geologist/ Hydrogeologist Hydrogeology, Chemist Chemistry and Geophysicist Geophysics.
Combined Geo-Scientist Admit Card 2020 Released
UPSC has released the admit card for Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) exam. Candidates can download the admit card by using registration or roll number. After downloading UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Admit Card 2020, candidates must check all the details and in case of any discrepancy contact the UPSC administrator.

For paper-I, students must visit the exam centers at 8.00 where the registration and authentication for the admit card will be started. The entry will be restricted after 8.45 and the password will be released till 9.20. Further, the exam will be started with the students logging into the browser. 9.20-9.30 will be given to students for reading the exam instruction. The exam will start at 9.30 and will end at 11.30.

For paper-II, students must visit the exam centers at 12.30 where the registration and authentication for the admit card will be started. The entry will be restricted after 1.15 and the password will be released till 1.50. Further, the exam will be started with the students logging into the browser. 1.50-2.00 will be given to students for reading the exam instruction. The exam will start at 2.00 and will end at 4.00.
