COMEDK 2023 exam is going to be held on 28th May and the application process will also commence soon. Candidates willing to appear for the exam must understand the eligibility criteria of COMEDK.

COMEDK 2023 exam date has been released by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. According to the notification published by the authorities, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on 28th May 2023. The registration process for COMEDK is expected to commence soon and candidates will be able to fill out the application form in online mode. The forms will be made available on the official website- www.comedk.org. The admission process includes steps like registration, payment of fee, the release of admit card, examination, result, and counselling. 

COMEDK is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission into various undergraduate courses in medical, engineering, and dental. Candidates who qualify in the examination will be admitted into 190 public and private colleges in Karnataka. It is a computer-based exam conducted once every year. Those who are going to appear this year must check the eligibility criteria for COMEDK. 

COMEDK 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Some important details regarding the eligibility criteria of COMEDK have been given below- 

Qualifying Exam
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2, a second PUC, or any equivalent examination recognized by the central or state government. 
  • They must have had Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as their mandatory subject.
Minimum Marks
  • Candidates belonging to the unreserved or OBC category must score at least 50% marks. 
  • Those who are from SC/ ST/ PwD category must have an aggregate of 45% marks. 
Diploma Holders
  • Students who have passed the diploma examination in Mathematics as a mandatory subject with a minimum score of 50% (45% for reserved category) including individual subjects 
NATA
  • To qualify for B.Arch, candidates must score at least cutoff marks in two of the three component exams, as well as a minimum qualifying score in the aggregate.
