The application form correction window for JEE Mains will open from 25th January 2017 to 3rd February 2017. The candidates could, however, make changes in the uploaded images from 10th December 2016 onwards. The last date to make corrections in the same was in the first week of January 2017. It is important to note that the correction of the application form is a one-time opportunity for the candidates.
The JEE Mains examination is conducted both in online and offline mode. The online examination is a computer-based exam and the offline examination is a paper and pen based examination. The examination is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education and this year, the exam will be conducted on 2nd April 2017. JEE Mains exam is held for the admissions into IITs, IIITs, and NITs of the country.
As the correction window is a one-time opportunity given to the candidates so that they do not face any trouble, they are advised to make the corrections very carefully. Once the corrections are done, candidates will not be given a second chance for whatsoever reasons.
The fees for the Joint Entrance Examination Mains (2017) should be paid by the aspiring candidates during January 25, 2017, to February 4, 2017, through any of the following modes like -
- Credit or Debit Card
- E-wallet (SBI Buddy/Paytm)
- Through e-challan generation
- By cash in Canara/ HDFC/ Syndicate/ ICICI Banks
