- Counselling on the basis of SRMJEE for B.Tech to be held from May 14 to 22, 2017.
- M.Tech applicants will have to appear for counselling on May 23, 2017.
- Founder’s Scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of rank obtained in SRMJEE 2017.
The SRM University will commence its counselling process from May 14, 2017, on the basis of the scores of SRMJEEE. The exam was conducted between April 1 and May 1, 2017, across various Indian states.
Admission to the university’s engineering programmes is done on the basis of score achieved by students in the SRMJEEE and their All India Ranks. Check out the counselling details of SRM University below.

Candidates who have secures ranks from 1 to 10000 will be invited for counselling procedure on the first day. Whereas, students who have ranks between 10001 and 70000 will be called on the second day and so on.

The counselling will take place at SRM University Kattankulathur campus. Counselling call letters and rank cards can be downloaded from the official website of the university.
Founder’s Scholarship:
The university also provided Founder’s Scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of rank obtained by students in SRMJEE 2017. The top 100 scorers of the exam will get a 100% tuition and hostel fee waiver. Students who have got ranks between 101 and 500 will get 75% tuition fee waiver whereas the students frim rank 501 to 1000 will get 50% tuition fee waiver.

Over 1.6 lakh candidates appeared for SRMJEEE in 2017 out of the 2 lakh students who registered for the exam. The exam was conducted across 118 centres in India. Centres were also arranged for NRI aspirants who had applied for the exam.
