CTET 20th Dec 2021 Paper 2 Question Paper Analysis (Available) - Check Difficulty Level, Weightage

CTET 2021 Paper 2 has been conducted on December 20 in Computer-based format for the first time. Earlier (Dec 16 & 17), there was no Paper 2 exam conducted due to the server issue so it will be Day 1 for CTET 2021 Paper 2 exam. The CTET Paper 2 will be conducted in the afternoon session (2:30 PM to 5:00 PM). There will be four sections in the CTET Paper 2: Language I & II, Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics & Science/ Social Studies. The subject-specific section will consist of 60 questions and all other sections will consist of 30 questions each. The paper will be conducted for a total of 150 questions for a total of 150 marks. Major Highlights of CTET 20th Dec 2021 Paper 2 Analysis (First Reaction)

Some of the major highlights of CTET 20th December 2021 Paper 2 analysis are as follows -

• The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate to difficult
• Child Development & Pedagogy was moderate
• Critical thinking questions were tough
• There were 3 questions related to Vygotsky in CDP
• CDP had mostly case-based questions
• There was a question on Piaget Theory, Inclusive Education, Progressive Education, Kohlberg (post-conventional), Scaffolding, locomotor disability, gender stereotype
• For Social Science, students felt that the paper was moderate to tough
• For  Science, the difficulty level was moderate
• The difficulty level of Mathematics was hard
• Most of the questions in Mathematics were application-based
• Form Science, there was a question related to types of Caratone, Vitamin Deficiency caused by eating Raw Fish, Osteoporosis, Hormone related to sleep deficiency, vitamin in fish liver oil
• From Social, there were questions on the reservation in parliament, Anglo-Indian reservation in parliament
• 2-3 questions were repeated as it is from previous years' question papers
