Dr. B.R Ambedkar Jayanti Celebrated at Central University of South Bihar

Dr B.R Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated at the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) on 14th April 2016.

A very comprehensive knowledge of the ancient Indian literature & Sanskrit language has helped the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar develop the economic policies rooted in the Indian culture & the universal humanism, said the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) political science department’s head Mr. K .K Mishra in Patna on April 14th, 2016.

The professor was delivering a ‘keynote address’ at the national seminar on the Ambedkar's ideas on the India's political economy organized by the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) on the account of Ambedkar's 125th birth anniversary, Prof. Mishra observed that the ancient India had an extraordinary tradition of the practising commerce and economics based on local needs & Ambedkar tried to follow the same. ‘The reflection of his ideas can be seen in some recent initiatives of the central government like stand-up India and Jan Dhan Yojana,’ he informed.

Inaugurating the seminar, the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) pro-VC Mr.O P Rai said Ambedkar showed this to the entire world that extraordinary achievements could be made in the life despite the extreme difficulties. ‘Ambedkar was a true nationalist and a great social reformer,’he said.
