DU Admissions 2017: NCWEB Releases 2nd Cut-off for B.A, B.Com Courses
  • According to the official schedule, the admission process will take place on July 7, 8 & 10, 2017.
  • Expect Miranda House and Hansraj College, all other colleges announced low cut-off, i.e., 40% for B.A & B.Com programmes.

The University of Delhi’s NCWEB or Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board has released the second cut-off list for B.A & B.Com courses on July 6, 2017. The varsity released the first cut-off list on July 1, 2017, where the cut-off for B.Com course at Miranda House and Hansraj College stood at 90%. In the second cut-off list, it was notified that 88% is necessary for B.Com course at Miranda House.

According to the official schedule, the admission process will take place on July 7, 8 & 10, 2017. The candidates can enroll for admissions between 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Expect Miranda House and Hansraj College, all other colleges announced low cut-off, i.e., 40% for B.A & B.Com programmes. However, this low cut-off is applicable only to the candidates belonging to ST category.

NCWEB is regarded as a non-formal system of acquiring a degree from the University of Delhi. Students who secure admission through NCWEB must attend the classes on the weekends. Only women students of Delhi region have the opportunity to enroll for programmes offered under NCWEB.

In the first cut-off list, B.A programme witnessed 88% under general category and the lowest was 70% for ST category. Even the lowest cut-off for B.Com course was 70% in the first cut-off list for ST candidates.

The candidates who secure admission under NCWEB must note that they need to maintain a minimum of 66% attendance only then they will be allowed to appear for the university examinations. There will be around 50 teaching days in a year and the classes will take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
