With the commencement of the 2019-20 academic session at Delhi University, many students have stated that they find it difficult to adjust to the new environment, especially finding affordable accommodation and overcoming the language barriers. Muskan Jain, a fresher at Kirori Mal College pursuing BA (Hons)Political Science stated that she has had trouble in finding cheap or even any Hostel near the college or North Campus, where she could stay. However, Muskan Jain is not the only undergraduate student who is facing issues in accommodation. Many other students have raised issues similar to hers. This year, many international students have also taken admission to different programmes at the varsity. This, however, means that such students will not only face issues in accommodation but also in spoken and written language.
