Just 2 students of the PGP course in management chose entrepreneurship as an option as compared to the six students last year. These students will work under the Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CII), IIM-A.

The number of students who decide to go for entrepreneurship is about their individual interests. One of the reasons for the students’ lack of interest in entrepreneurship is income. As per a report by a job search website 'INDEED', the average salary of an entrepreneur is roughly Rs. 3,81,003 per year, which is quite less than what one can possibly earn in a corporate job.
