Five meritorious students of ‘Super 30’ have been selected for a tour of Japan to know more about science and technology. Yoji Nishikawa, a senior official of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) handed over the invitation letters to the five students. He mentioned that Super 30 is famous in Japan, and the agency has decided to fully sponsor these five students.
The five students of the Academy have been selected for a special one week programme which is going to take place in the month of November. During the visit, the students will visit some of the top educational institutions in Japan. The students will also attend a lecture of Noble Prize winner Shirakawa.
Under this tour, the students will stay in Japan from November 6 to 13, 2016. The students will visit the University of Tokyo and interact with the students of Super Science High School. Last year, The University of Tokyo had also announced that they would happily provide full scholarship to two students for them to pursue higher studies in the university.
Mr. Anand Kumar, Director of Super 30, said that the five students had been selected through a screening test for the Japanese Education Trip.
