The state government of Telangana is planning to provide coaching for civil service examinations at free of cost to students pursuing UG and PGcourses in government colleges across the state. The Commissioner of Collegiate Education (CCE) – Telangana is preparing a proposal for the same. Recently, CCE has restructured several courses in colleges to match industrial requirement.
CCE Telangana is planning to launch a Super 50 or Super 100 batch initially to train students for civil services examination including prelims, mains and interview. The selection of students will be based on a screening test conducted by CCE Telangana. The state government has also planned to provide coaching for entrance exams for PG students for the admission to IITs and central universities. CCE Telangana will soon finalise the details of the screening test and coaching classes.

The restructuring of several courses in government degree colleges across the state has increased the admissions for the academic session 2018-19. Compared to the last year, the enrolment in government degree colleges has increased from 30,588 to 40,796. Over 25 colleges out of 132 recorded 100% admissions while 30 colleges recorded more than 80% admissions.

In 2018 students who scored 90% in intermediate joined degree colleges located in Hyderabad. Most of the students hailing from backward and rural areas preferred government degree colleges. Since the enrolment in government colleges has increased, CCE Telangana is expecting huge demand for Civil Services exam coaching.
