Impressed with the performance of Muslim candidates in UPSC Civil Services Exam 2017, Haj Committee of India has taken a noble decision to provide free civil services exam coaching to Muslim aspirants across states and union territories from next year. So far, Haj Committee of India has been providing free coaching for civil services examination at its headquarters located in Mumbai. Two candidates who took guidance here cracked civil service exam this year.
This year, 51 Muslim candidates across the country cleared civil services exam this year. Therefore, Haj Committee of India has decided to enhance its scope by offering free coaching to deserving Muslim aspirants across the country.

Recently, Haj Committee of India sent a proposal to Ministry of Minority Affairs about offering free coaching to Muslim aspirants. The coaching classes will be offered at Haj Houses located across various states and union territories. Impressed with the proposal of Haj Committee, the ministry has given its nod.
Union Minister of Minority Affairs, Mr. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi confirmed that Haj Committee of India would start free coaching for civil services examination at all its Haj Bhavans across the country. An official communication will be made to state Haj Boards in this regard, and the free coaching will be launched from the next year.

Haj Committee of India has been proving free coaching for civil services exam for the past seven years. The committee observed that the number of Muslim students appearing for civil services exam has increased in the last two years. For instance, 2% Muslim candidates appeared for civil services prelims exam in 2017.
