GATE Exam 2023: Documents Required on the Exam DayGATE Exam 2023 Document Required: IIT Kanpur is all set to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Exam on the 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th of February 2023. Candidates appearing for the exam need to carry certain documents to the examination centre. The documents will enable the examiner to identify your identity and will act as the pass for entry into the examination hall.
If a candidate fails to carry the required documents on the GATE 2023 exam day then he/she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Most of the aspirants have a misconception that ADMit card is the only document they need to carry out on the GATE 2023 exam day. But apart from admit cards, domestic and international candidates also need to carry certain documents to the exam centre.
List of Documents Required on the GATE 2023 Exam Day by Domestic candidate
Here is the list of document candidate need to carry to the GATE 2023 Exam Center:
- Admit Card (Carry a minimum of 2 copies of the admit card to the exam centre)
- Government-issued ID proof (Adhar Card, Pan Card, Driving Licence, Passport)
- Photograph
- Candidate must bring the original and valid photo ID Documents as no copies or scanned copies or experienced documents will be considered valid on the exam day
- Candidates need to avoid bringing a soft copy of the GATE Admit Card 2023, only a hard copy will be accepted at the examination centre
