August 1, 2023: GTU Result has been declared for Postgraduate Diploma in Bioinformatics semester 2 exam (regular mode) and Master of Research semester 4 exam (regular mode) on July 30, 2023.
July 31, 2023: GUJCET 2023 Counselling has started by ACPC. The choices for round 2 seat allotment can be filled from July 26 to 30, 2023. Round 2 seat allotment results will be out on August 2, 2023.
GTU Result 2023 has been released by Gujarat Technological University for the Postgraduate Diploma in Bioinformatics, Master of Research and other semester exams on July 30, 2023. GTU has published the result for summer 2023 sessions on student portal GTU. The students can check their respective GTU 2023 Result in theGTU result list where their subject-wise marks will be displayed. Candidates who have acquired passing marks will be eligible for the next semester. Meanwhile, students who do not obtain passing marks can also apply for a re-evaluation or re-assessment of their GTU Result. Also, students having FF/ fail grades can also take remedial university exams also known as re-appear exams. Gujarat Technological University Result has been released in the form of grade cards which includes the Semester Performance Index (SPI).

How to Check GTU Result 2023
Candidates can check GTU 2023 Result by following the steps mentioned below:
- Go to the official website of GTU at gtu.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the “Exam” option in the navigation bar.
- Under the dropdown menu, click on either “GTU Results” or “Result List”.
- A new page will appear for student portal GTU consisting of all Gujarat Technological University Result 2023.
- Click on the subject/ exam for which you wish to check the result.
- When you click on the exam, a new page will appear as shown below:
- Enter your enrollment number, seat number, and code. You can also change the exam name by selecting from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the “Search” option.
- Your GTU result will be displayed on the screen with your score.

GTU Marking Scheme
The GTU marking scheme is divided into two components: internal evaluation by respective colleges and the final semester exam conducted by GTU. The weightage of the internal assessment is 30% and the final end exam is 70% of overall marks. The internal assessment is conducted for 30 marks out of which 20 marks is for mid-semester test and 10 marks is for assignments, attendance, practicals, etc. GTU Results will consists of the sum of these 2 components.

GTU Grading System
The internal assessment marks are added to the semester-end exam to convert the overall score into grades as per the GTU grade history given below:

At any point in time, students can have a maximum of 4 backlogs i.e. FF grades pending. Students who fail the exam can also take remedial university exams also known as re-appear exams to improve their scores.
Calculation of Semester Performance Index (SPI)
The Semester Performance Index (SPI) is released along with the grade card of GTU Result. The SPI is calculated through the following formula:

GTU Revaluation Result 2023
Students who do not obtain the minimum passing marks in Gujarat Technological University 2023 Result can apply for revaluation or re-checking of their scores. Through the GTU Revaluation Result process, the answer copy of the students will be re-assessed by the professors. Candidates have 15 days to apply for the GTU Revaluation process. Registration can be done online or offline by filling out the application form. Students will also have to pay Rs. 100 application fee for each course for revaluation. The maximum number of subjects for which students can apply for revaluation is 4. Once revaluation is completed, the university will release the final result for revaluation on the official website separately. The GTU Revaluation Result 2023 consists of the highest score among the old and new scores of the candidates. How to Check GTU Revaluation Result 2023?
Once the revaluation is completed, GTU will release the revaluation result on the official website. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check GTU Revaluation Result 2023:
- Go to the official website of Gujarat Technological University.
- On the navigation bar, select the “exam” option.
- From the drop-down menu, select the result list option.
- The list of results will be displayed on the screen.
- Select the link for GTU Revaluation Result 2023 to check your result.
- A new page will appear.
- Enter your enrolment number and other details to log in.
- Your scores will be displayed on the screen.
GTU Remedial Exam 2023
Students who fail to obtain the minimum passing marks through Gujarat Technological University Result 2023 can apply for a remedial exam. Students who are not satisfied with their scores can also apply for remedial exams. GTU remedial exams are conducted during the mid-semester exams for candidates who have obtained FF Grades in a subject or who want to improve their grade in a subject. It can also be termed a re-appear exam. Note that GTU remedial exam is only applicable for theoretical exams and not practical exams. Candidates can apply for GTU remedial exam through the official website. Once the GTU Remedial Exam 2023 is over, the result for the same will be declared on the official website.
GTU Timetable 2023
Gujarat Technological University releases its timetable for respective courses every year on its official website. Since the summer 2023 GTU Result 2023 is out, the next semester will begin soon. The GTU timetable 2023 for next semester will start from the last week of July to the first week of August for all courses.
