A few months ago, the Haryana government had come up with the idea of implementing the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for subjects at the UG level. For subjects such as Physics, Commerce, Geography, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Psychology, Mathematics, Political Science and Economics, the state government had formed committees with six experienced faculty members each. The members of such committees had to visit the colleges and universities in Kurukshetra and Rohtak to revise the syllabus and frame the modalities for CBCS implementation.
