Het Shah, NEET Topper Shares his Views on NEET 2016

NEET i.e. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examination was the most scandalous examination of this year and has been through a lot. The idea of creating NEET was questioned a lot of times and it faced everything from legal complaints to leakage of question papers. But now the result of NEET is out and everything is fine. The topper of NEET has some pretty sensational views on the exam and exam preparation.

Het Shah, topper of NEET is from Gujarat scored 685 marks out of the total 720, he bagged 4th All India Rank in AIIMS i.e. All India Institute of Medical Science and he also scored 96.5 percent in his class 12th exams. He wishes to be a neurosurgeon in future and is currently studying at AIIMS, New Delhi.

He was asked about his views on NEET and he said that a national level entrance test was much required for India. He also said that a common test allows institutes to grade students better.
The topper says that no exam is hard to crack if one prepares for it the right way and give enough hours for preparation.

Shah took coaching from ALLEN Career Institute and used to study for 5 hours apart from the 6-hour coaching. He wishes the future NEET aspirants good luck and as pointers, he suggested following things.

  • Stick to your schedule
  • Put in enough hours
  • Believe in yourself
