Hyderabad based Pharma Company Hetero Drugs conducted placement drive at Bapatla Engineering College on 4-May-2016. The placement drive was inaugurated by the college principal, S.Sudhakar. The HR officials of the company were welcomed in a grand manner by the college management and students. The interviews were conducted for the final year B.Tech Chemical Engineering students of the college.
Three rounds of interview were conducted which included a preliminary written test related to the curriculum, group discussion and face to face interview. The placement drive received a good response as a total number of 60 students attended the interviews. Only 6 students got selected in the final round of interview. The company officials congratulated them and gave the offer letters. The students are selected at annual package of Rs.2,00,000.
College principal, S.Sudhakar said, “Bapatla Engineering College is the only college in Guntur which offers Chemical engineering course in B.Tech. The Department of Chemical Engineering of the college has been maintaining and good pass percentage and placements. A total number of 42 students out of 60 got placed in various pharma companies in the academic year 2015-2016. The college is doing its best to assure maximum placements”. He congratulated the students and greeted them for their bright future. Students also thanked the college management and faculty for their motivation and support.
