IGNOU has launched the re-registration for July 2020 session on the Samarth portal. The students eligible for re-registration in July 2020 can access the portal on the official website of IGNOU. The last date for IGNOU July re-registration is 30th June 2020.
The new portal ignou.samarth.edu.in has been designed to provide "Single-Window" to all the students and to streamline the process. The service through the student portal includes- study centre, courses, regional centre, exam form submission etc.
How to Re-register Through IGNOU Samarth Portal (July 2020 Session)
To re-register through IGNOU Samarth Portal, candidates first have to create a new user account. It is mandatory for all the students to create a new account to access all the services through the Single Sign-On.
Once the candidates have successfully registered for the same and login, they will get the option of submitting their re-registration provided they are eligible. The portal has been configured in such a manner that only those students, who are eligible for re-registration in July 2020 will be able to access the Re-registration form.
Out of the total 49 Programs under which re-registration is to be done for July 2020 session, 35 programs are available on the portal as of now. Configuration of the remaining programmes is going on and the university will keep adding the same.
IGNOU Re-Registration July 2020 Session Registration Guidelines
- IGNOU Re-registration means to register for next year or semester of the course.
- It is only applicable to students enrolled in UG/PG programme of two-three year duration.
- Candidates can re-register irrespective of the fact that whether you submitted the assignments or appeared in the end-term examination of the previous semester.
IGNOU Re-Registration July 2020 Commencement Date
IGNOU re-registration for July 2020 session has begun. Candidates can visit the official website of IGNOU to submit re-registration form for UG/ PG courses. The re-registration form should be submitted or before the stipulated date.
IGNOU Re-Registration July 2020 Last Date
IGNOU re-registration for July 2020 has been extended to 30th June 2020. Candidates must submit re-registration form, and pay the prescribed course fee on or before the stipulated date. The study materials will be dispatched to the candidates only after the payment of the course fee.

All students who are enrolled in the bachelors/ masters programme of two-three year duration are eligible for re-registration. Candidates can re-register for the next year/semester of their programme even if they have appeared in term-end exams or assignments in the previous semester. Candidates can follow the steps listed below for the re-registration of IGNOU July 2020 cycle:

Step 1: Candidates have to visit the official website of IGNOU.
Step 2: Click on the link “Apply Online Re-Registration Form
Step 3: Candidates have to select their programme and are required to enter their enrolment number and security code.
Step 4: Submit the details and after that pay the application fees via Debit/ Credit Card/ Netbanking or ATM pin.
Step 5: Download the confirmation page and take out the printout of the same for further reference.
Only Indian Nationals can apply for the online re-registration process. However, foreign nationals do not have an option to apply in the online mode. Therefore all interested foreign nationals/NRI have to apply for re-registration in offline mode.
