IIM Amritsar made an official announcement upon the completion of MBA 2020-2022 placements. Candidates have been well-placed in more than 100 prestigious companies in India with an average INR 14.63 LPA.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Amritsar, has announced placements for the MBA batch of 2020-2022. In its official statement, IIM Amritsar has claimed to set new standards by enrolling the most number of students of all the third-generation IIMs in prestigious posts. On average, the Cost-to-Company (CTC) offered was INR 14.63 LPA. The average of the leading quarter of candidates was offered a CTC of INR 18.54 LPA. Further, IIM Amritsar has also broken the record for yearly growth in the average CTC by 15.38%.
Leading companies from various sectors and domains showed their interests in the IIM Amritsar placements 2022. About 110 well-established companies participated in the 2022 MBA Placements. Approximately, 230 offers have been made for the candidates of the IIM Amritsar 2022 batch.
The teams from IIM Amritsar earned prestigious positions in various national-level competitions securing such reputable offers. They have secured positions in GMC, Valuation Olympiad (Global Banking Challenge, London), Flipkart WiRED, Hero Campus Challenge 7.0, Mi Summit 3.0, and VIP GEAR. They also acquired opportunities in Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) and Pre-Placement Interview (PPI).

IIM Amritsar witnessed 50 new recruiters for the 2022 MBA Placements. Some of the leading companies such as Everest Industries, HDFC Bank, Adani Group, BMW, Dalmia Bharat, Digit Insurance, Genpact, ICICI Bank, TATA Capital, VIP Industries, Birlasoft, Acuity Knowledge Partners, Virtusa, Reliance Retail, Cognizant, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Dell were a part of the placement process.
Meanwhile, some of the old associated recruiters also participated in the IIM Amritsar 2022 MBA Placements. Some brilliant and talented students were recruited by these companies: Amazon, HCL, ICICI Lombard, Infosys, Xiaomi, Tech Mahindra, DHL, Crompton Greaves, DTDC, Cipla, AU Small Finance Bank, Accenture, Gartner, Polycab, IndiaMART, TresVista, iQuanti, EY and more.
