IIM Calcutta has launched a new programme to promote working professionals. It is an Executive Programme in Investment Banking and Capital Markets. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of IIM Calcutta.
In association with Imarticus Learning, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has launched a new one-year programme. It is an Executive Programme in Investment Banking and Capital Markets (EPIBCM). The programme will have three foundation modules and a total of seven advanced modules for the entire programme.
Additionally, candidates will also participate in the three-day intensive workshop at the beginning of the programme and also at the end of the programme. These workshops will be conducted at the IIM Calcutta Campus.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the Executive Programme is minimal. Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation are eligible. Also, candidates must have a minimum of two years of working experience to apply for the EPIBCM programme. The programme is expected to begin in April 2022. Hence, interested candidates can check for recent updates on the official website of IIM Calcutta.

The total fees for the course will be INR 3, 98,000 to which GST will be added. This includes the entire expenditure of the programme, along with campus immersion.
The schedule will be such that classes will be held once every week. The programme will proceed with learning through case studies and real-life examples of corporate finances and capital markets. The programme will also include general discussions on the subject matter.
The Executive Programme in Investment Banking and Capital Markets (EPIBCM) has been launched with the idea to provide in-depth information and knowledge on the said topics, i.e., Investment Banking and Capital Markets. The programme will cover a range of subjects, such as debt and equity capital markets, sales and trading, mergers and acquisitions, securities market research and valuation, portfolio fund management, and securities regulations. As a whole, candidates can be assured to have a wholesome knowledge of Investment Banking and Capital Markets.
