Indian Institute of Management Indore has announced admissions for its one-year weekend General Management Programme (GMPE) meant for the working executives based out of Madhya Pradesh. The course will start from January 2017 next year.

Some of the main highlights of the programme:
- It is one-year duration certificate programme
- Classes will be held on Sundays
- Five classes are held back to back
- Duration of each class is 75 minutes
- Classes will be spread over 40 Sundays
- Programme also includes a project work as a part of its curriculum
The objectives of the GMPE programme:
- To introduce candidates to the recent developments in business management, theory & practices and models
- Prepare each participant for a general management role
- To develop inter-functional orientation and global outlook among students
Eligibility for the GMPE programme:
- Any engineering degree holder with three years of work experience
- Any degree holder (like B. Sc., B.Com, B.A.) with five years of work experience
- Diploma holder with minimum ten years of work experience

Admission Procedure for the GMPE programme:
Admissions are open for the second batch of the programme starting from January 2017. The last date for receiving application forms is 30th November 2016. Interested candidates can apply online.
