TEDx Event in IIM Kashipur: Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur in Uttarakhand witnessed an inspiring TEDx event focusing on the ‘Dwell and Conquer’ theme. A bunch of eminent speakers achieving heights in their own fields shared their views on the pathway to transform youth in scaling the rise of the new India vision. In the IIM Kashipur chapter of the renowned TEDx Talks worldwide, the students interacted with the views of various notable personalities.
IIM Kashipur Organises TEDx Program
Some of the noted speakers from IT, Literature, entrepreneurs, and defence were invited to be a part of this ambitious program at IIT Kashipur campus to share their views on the theme and ignite the minds of young students studying there. The event witnessed the views of Vartul Mittal, an Information Technology expert who explained the potential of how much it is there to explore in technological innovation and the pathway to follow to create wonders in the digital transformation of the country. He also shared some brainstorming insights on the power of data, its consumption and how the world is dependent on data analytics today and tomorrow.
Nitish Raj, a renowned author explained the art of storytelling and the contribution of literature to the social transformation of the country. He further added that the students might keep literature alive in them either in the form of reading or writing.

TEDX Event at IIM Kashipur also featured Ashwani Dhawan from Broadway Infotech who redefined the role of CIO in an organisation. Other visionary speakers outshined the grace of the event were Jyoti Jha, an HR turned to story teller, Gaurav Kejriwal, Vice President at EXL Analytics and alumnus of IIM Calcutta, Business Leader Kanishk Agarwal, Vadhan, a constitutional lawyer and author, Harshita Rao Motaparthi, Founder of Mile Active, Social Media sensation Ella D’ Verma, and Major Prajakta Desai, first woman officer in the Indian Army to qualify as a UAV Observer Pilot.
