IIM Sambalpur Inaugurates First MBA batch for Working Professionals: One of the premier management institutions in the country, IIM Sambalpur inaugurated its first MBA batch exclusively designed for working professionals at its Delhi campus. This new initiative by IIM Sambalpur aims to cater to the growing demands of career-oriented professionals who are seeking to enhance their managerial skills and accelerate their professional growth. The major decision to introduce this specialized MBA program was to provide specialization in Data Science and product management, Innovation, and Startup apart from the functional domain. 

The Joint Secretary, Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, Dr. Alok Kumar Mishra, that through the introduction of the credit system in NEP students all over the world can participate across institutions. Recognizing the challenges faced by working professionals when it comes to pursuing a full-time MBA course, IIM Sambalpur has designed a flexible and dynamic curriculum that allows participants to learn without compromising their work commitments. Keynote speaker of the occasion, Shatanik Goswami, Lead Consultant, congratulated Professor Jaiswal on the milestone and provided detailed insights on the significance of the essence of product management along with the important elements of the startup. 

Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director, IIM Sambalpur stated that as the industrial sector is evolving it is essential to promote innovation-driven entrepreneurship and foster innovation and integrity. The first batch of this MBA program has already witnessed an overwhelming response, with enthusiastic professionals from diverse sectors and industries enrolling in the program. The most inspiring part was witnessing Mr. GM Gupta, an entrepreneur who is 80 years old join the MBA course at Delhi Campus.

Kindly note, that IIM Sambalpur will organise 'PAN IIM World Management Conference 2023'  from October 21 to 23, 2023. The theme of the conference will be "Entrepreneurial Innovation and Digital Governance for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth.".
