IIT Bombay Alumnis Fintech Summit 2022 on March 11

The IIT Bombay Alumni Association (IITBAA) has announced the IITBAA FinTech Summit 2022 on March 11 and 12. The summit will be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of the IITBAA called "IIT Bombay Alumni Association." It is a two-and-a-half-day virtual program in which prominent speakers and panellists will share their views and opinions and debate the direction we believe India will take in the next decade, namely as the next Global Fintech Destination.

The year 2021 was a defining moment for India, with the startup ecosystem collectively raising USD 42 billion and 46 firms obtaining unicorn status. In 2021, the FinTech industry alone raised a record USD 8 billion across 280 investment agreements. In the midst of this immense excitement in the FinTech area, the IIT Bombay Alumni Association is returning with its second FinTech Summit.

IIT Bombay Alumni's fintech summit 2022 on March 11 Event Details 

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will deliver the inaugural keynote on March 11 at 3.45 p.m. Another keynote talk will be delivered by Dinesh Kumar Khara, Chairman and Managing Director of SBI, on March 12 at 9.30 a.m.

According to a statement from IIT Bombay alumni "Themed "India: Global Fintech Destination?", FinTech Summit 2022 will bring together industry-leading speakers and panellists representing diverse areas of the FinTech industry — Financial Markets, Investments in Fintech, Payment Gateway, BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later), Insuretch,"
