Divangshu Kumar leaves his Rs. 21 lakh/ PA job to establish a startup which will change the face of secondary education in India with the implementation of peer learning pedagogy. The non-profit initiative will help IIT aspirants mostly.
Divangshu Kumar, an Indian Institute of Technology - IIT Madras graduate from Gaya has rejected an Rs. 21 lakh per year job offer and established a start-up that aims to develop changes in the primary and secondary education level in India. The ‘Involve Learning Solution Foundation,’ the start-up launched by the IIT Madras graduate is working towards peer learning pedagogy for students. The interest in this sector grew in Divangshu when he was in school. Divangshu shared that in his school there was no proper infrastructure and there were hardly any teachers. He learned from his peers in school which later gave birth to the Idea that ‘peer learning’ is an effective way to shape the education system. He expressed that he always desired to fix the ill-managed primary and secondary level education in India.
The idea ignited a spark in his mind when he was working with Avanti Fellows which was a Chennai based startup which was into collaborative learning for school students.
Divangshu has claimed that under his initiative, IIT students will mentor the aspirants who want to study in the institutions like IIT. The focus will be the underprivileged school children whose dream of higher study get buried in pas for lack of exposure.
Divangshu said that he himself acted as a mentor when he was in the freshman year, eventually, he became a leader and observed the work process of leadership roles closely. He understood the importance of peer learning and achieved 100% success in his endeavours as all the students cleared JEE.
Motivated by this success, he started to work extensively on a module in which, senior students will take an active part in teaching underperforming junior students.
This module will also help the teachers to reduce their burden as they will no longer have to give importance to particular students and their performance in a class that consists of 30-40 students.

With the help of his friends Samyak and Awnish, he started the initiative in ASN Senior Secondary School in East Delhi as a pilot project in 2016 as a pilot project. At that moment, Divangshu was just a student of the second year in college.
With the track record of serial success, the non-profit entrepreneur wants to take 20,000 students and 5,000 influencers on board.
