IIT Guwahati Placements 2023-24: As per the report released by the IIT Guwahati, a total of 164 students got placement via the campus recruitment drive 2023-24. 59 companies so far recruited the IIT Guwahati final year students. Among them, 214 students already received the Pre-Placement offers (PPOs). The students are being selected for the Core Engineering and Finance jobs. Also, this year the placement percentage for the IIT Guwahati students is higher compared to the previous placement session 2022-23. 

• A total of 262 organizations have completed the Phase 1 placement registration as of now, including the seven public sector undertakings (PSUs)
• More than 50 start-ups have also registered to participate in the Phase 1 recruitment drive
• According to the report, IIT Guwahati Session 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 recruitment drives were started at around midnight, 8 am, and 4 pm respectively. This refers to the placement sessions taking place constantly
• At first, a total of 1491 students did their registration for the recruitment drive. In this reference, Career Development Head pointed that the Institute witnessed the global recession
