IIT JAM 2023: List of documents required on exam day

Documents Required on IIT JAM Exam ay 2023: IIT JAM 2023 exam is scheduled for February 12, and the mode of exam is computer-based. Candidates appearing for IIT JAM 2023 must download the admit card at jam.iitg.ac.in. The admit card is the most important document to be carried along on the exam day for candidates to be allowed to enter the examination centre. The details for the exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card, and candidates are advised to follow the instructions. Candidates appearing for the exams are also instructed to report to the exam centres as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Apart from the admit card, candidates shall carry the required documents for verification. 

Documents Required for IIT JAM 2023 Exam Day

Candidates who are prepared to appear for the exams are also advised to prepare the documents required on the exam day ahead of time to avoid last-minute chaos. So here is a list of the documents required for IIT JAM 2023 Exam Day: 

• IIT JAM 2023 Admit Card which is available online through the official website for candidates to check and download. 
• One valid photo ID proof issued by the government of India, such as an Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport. 
• Two Passport size photographs that match the one submitted at the time of application and are available on the admit card. 

Things not to carry on IIT JAM 2023 Exam Day

Before entering the examination hall, it is of utmost importance that candidates should also be aware of what not to carry to the examination hall to avoid disqualification from the examination: 

• Mobile phones
• Electronic Watches
• Bluetooth earphones or earplugs
• Books
• Notes or Papers
• Other electronic devices with GPS

Candidates should check their pockets before entering the examination hall to ensure they are not in possession of any of the prohibited items. If any candidate is found in possession of any of the prohibited items, with or without knowledge, they will immediately be disqualified and asked to leave the examination hall. Strict action will be taken against the candidate. So, candidates should be well-prepared with only the documents required for IIT JAM 2023 Exam Day and not carry any prohibited items.
