IIT Kharagpur Awards the Technology Excellence Award to an ISRO Scientist
Mr. M. Jeen Britto, an ISRO Scientist, has been awarded the Nina Saxena Excellence in Technology Award by Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur on August 18, 2016. Mr. Britto is awarded for his outstanding innovation in the field of Cryogenics Instrumentation and Automation. The award was present on the occasion of institute’s 66th Foundation day celebrations.

On the same occasion, Mr. Krishnendu Chakrabarty has been awarded Distinguished Alumnus Award for the year 2014. The Institute announced life-long e-mail service for all its 55,000 alumni community.
The foundation stone for the institute was laid in 1951. Kharagpur was a small town during those days. Now, the institute has become one of the premier institutes in the country. The Institue bagged various awards. Students of this institute participated in various national and international level competitions and brought laurels.
