IIT Mandi Placements: 86% Students Placed, 100% in Computer Science & Engineering

IIT Mandi UG engineering students secured jobs in top firms in campus placements for the year 2017-18. ISRO recruited 4 students from IIT Mandi.

IIT Mandi Placements: 86% Students Placed, 100% in Computer Science & Engineering

IIT Mandi has continued to maintain strong placement record like every year. This year, 86% of students secured jobs in various firms. Out of 99 UG engineering students eligible for placements for the academic session 2017-18, 85 students participated in the placements. All the 85 students secured jobs in top firms.

Students who did not participate in placements opted for higher studies, plan to start their own ventures or prepare for competitive exams. The 85 students who participated received 103 offers, as against 95 offers in the previous year.

IIT Mandi has recorded an increase in the number of companies visiting campus this year. Last year, only 31 companies took part in the campus placements while the number has increased to 58 in 2017-18 placements. This year, almost 11 start-ups participated in the placements.
