Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM) Bangalore will issue an official notification for the admission to Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Agri-Business and Plantation Management (ABPM) for the academic session 2019-21 soon.
IIPM is an autonomous educational institute and is co-sponsored by the Commodity Boards of India like Rubber Board, Tea Board, Spices Board, Coffee Board and Plantation Industry Associations. The details regarding PGDM-ABPM Eligibility Criteria, Application and Selection Process are elaborated below.
IIPM PGDM-ABPM Eligibility Criteria: -
- A Bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) from a recognised university is mandatory for seeking admission to PGDM-ABPM course offered by IIPM.
- Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agriculture) or any other allied science courses can also apply.
- Applicants belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD) must have 45% of marks in UG degree for seeking admission.
- Similarly, applicants belonging to General Category must have 50% of marks in UG degree for seeking admission.
- NRI and International Students can also register for PGDM-ABPM course at IIPM with a valid GMAT and TOEFL score.
- Applicants must have a valid CAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CMAT score to be eligible for admission.
- The reservation in seats is applicable to the candidates belonging to SC/ OBC/ ST/ PWD categories.

IIPM PGDM-ABPM Application Process: -
- There is no online application process for the admission to PGDM-ABPM course offered by IIPM.
- For obtaining an application form, the eligible and interested candidates will have to write to the Admission Office along with a crossed DD (Demand Draft) for Rs. 1,000 (Rs. 500 for reserved categories) drawn in favour of Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore.
- Candidates can also obtain the application by downloading it from the official website of IIPM.
- While sending the filled-in application to IIPM Bangalore by Registered or Speed Post, the candidates must affix all the relevant certificates and documents.
- The filled-up in the application will have to reach Admission Office, IIPM Bangalore, Jana Bharathi Campus, Malathalli, Bangalore (560056) before the stipulated deadline.
